My cat is hiding, lethargic, breathing oddly. What's wrong with her?

Poor Precious! It sounds like she's quite sick. Open-mouth breathing or "panting" in cats is not normal, and usually indicates a serious breathing problem or some type of severe stress. Acting lethargic and not eating are very vague symptoms that could be caused by almost any kind of illness, so it's hard to say what might be going on without being able to examine her and run some tests. It does sound like this may be a life-threatening problem, so I would recommend taking her to the vet today to be seen. If your regular veterinarian doesn't have Saturday hours, I would take her to your nearest emergency clinic. The vet there can do blood work, x-rays, or other testing if needed to help diagnose the problem and see what kind of treatment is needed.

It could be Noelle is sick. I would keep a close eye on her tonight and if she still acting this way in the morning, have her seen by a vet. Rush her into an ER vet right away if she starts having trouble breathing.

Vanta is experiencing very general symptoms of disease, these symptoms could fit almost any internal condition, maybe she is suffering from nausea due to a gastrointestinal disease and maybe she is in pain, from the symptoms described it's very hard to know. i would recommend taking her to the vet as soon as possible in order to get her checked, if he doesn't show any other obvious symptoms during the examination, a blood test and possibly an ultrasound will be needed in order to try and find out what is wrong with her.

I would be worried about Snuggie. It's very concerning she is having problems breathing, and given that her symptoms have been going on for a couple of days, it's time to see the vet. I'd take her into one now. Best of luck.

Something seems like it is bothering Snickers. I am concerned there is something wrong with Snickers intestinal tract. It could be something simple as if Snickers ate something that just upset his stomach to something more like a foreign body being stuck in Snickers stomach. The ideal situation is taking Snickers to a veterinarian to get a physical examination and see if that can give anymore information on what is going on with Snickers. I would look into low cost clinic options. i would ask neighbors and friends or do a quick google search. Some clinics will even have free exam coupons which you can find online. What a gorgeous cat! I am sorry he is not feeling well. Licking his lips is a sign of nausea. Even though he may not be vomiting today he is showing signs that he is still not feeling well. If he is eating (even small amounts) and drinking water as well as interacting with you, urinating, and defecating than he may be able to wait until Wednesday. However, if Michaleto's breathing continues to be abnormal at all to you this may be a sign that he is in pain or has some sort of disease of his heart or lungs. Any abnormal breathing - whether fast or hard - should be seen as soon as possible by a veterinarian. I hope he is feeling better soon.

I'm sorry to hear Nala is having issues. Changes in "meow" or respiratory changes are concerning and should be evaluated by your regular veterinarian. Respiratory changes can be indicative of foreign material ingestion, heart issues, pneumonia, asthma, upper respiratory infections, or allergies, for example. I would recommend she be seen by her regular veterinarian to determine the underlying cause for her respiratory issues, have any necessary testing done (X-rays, bloodwork) and come up with an appropriate treatment plan if warranted.
