Why is my cat tilting his head, walking funny, and has ear discharge?

Ear infections in cats can be caused by ear mites, yeast, or bacteria. Unfortunately without seeing Notie in person, I can't diagnose what is causing it and can't say what treatment is needed. She does have to see a vet for this, as leaving it untreated can lead to hearing loss. Vets are seeing pets now for illnesses, and this counts. Please call around to find a vet to see her today. You need to get him to the vet for an exam. You cannot get him vaccinated if he has an upper respiratory infection and an ear infection. Those have to be taken care of first. I don't recommend using Mullien Tea in your cat's ear. Your best option is to try to Google low cost vet clinics in your area. You can also try your local humane society - they often have low cost vet clinics attached to them.

Poor baby. He could be suffering from allergies or a upper respiratory infection (URI). He could also have an ear infection or ear mites. You can try Benadryl to see if that helps. See link below. Ear infections can sometimes take a little while to heal completely I recommend calling your vet to schedule a recheck appointment, as your vet will likely want to examine the ear canal, and possibly check a swab of the ear under a microscope to see how the treatment is progressing. In the meantime, keep treating Domino as directed by your vet. He certainly is a cute little guy, and lucky to have a caring new owner!

It sounds like Pojii could have ear mites. You usually can't see ear mites without a microscope but they could be moving ear wax around. Other types of mites, lice and fleas could also be near the ears. Ear mites usually cause a very dark, dry waxy debris in the ears and can cause secondary ear infections. I would recommend seeing a veterinarian for a diagnosis - they might take a swab from the ears and examine it under the microscope - and treatment options. Ear mites and ear infections are not particularly serious and are easily treatable, but if they are untreated they could lead to permanent damage to the ear.

If the ears are itchy, the cat will scratch. This can cause wounds and debris near the canal opening. He will need to see his veterinarian to have an examination. The ear canals curve deep into the skull. So a special instrument is needed to look inside.
