My cat has green discharge and is lethargic. Should I be worried?

Hello, sorry to hear about Smokey. His eye discharge can be a sign of an upper respiratory tract infection, an eye infection, being dehydrated or having an ulcer. His anus being on protruded can be a sign of him having diarrhea and dehydration most likely. If you are seeing that he seems lethargic, has a low appetite, had vomiting or diarrhea, then he should be seen by a veterinarian immediately, Otherwise, please schedule the next available appointment with your vet to have his eye examined. They may run a decal diagnostic test on him first to rule out any parasites that might be causing these things and/or some bloodwork to check his organ functions to start with. Coughing is often a sign of asthma or other lung inflammation. Eye discharge is often a sign of an upper respiratory infection, especially if your other cat is now showing symptoms as well. Since there is green discharge you should see a veterinarian who can prescribe antibiotics if needed, and potentially take a chest x-ray as well.

You can try withholding food for 24 hours. Allow small amounts of water or unflavored PediaLyte. Resume feeding a bland diet in small, frequent amounts until the stool is normal. Ideally, since she's lethargic and has diarrhea, she should be examined by your veterinarian. If a fast and bland diet does not resolve the diarrhea or if she develops other symptoms (lethargy, loss of appetite or abdominal pain), then Tabby will definitely have to go to the vet.

This discharge could be coming primarily from the mouth or any of the associated anatomic structures and it is not possible to know exactly without an examination. This could certainly be due to an infection for example. It does appear that she is uncomfortable. How this is managed really depends on what actually is going on. For that reason, I highly recommend that you have her evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They would be able to diagnose this and proceed with therapy accordingly. Definitely take Oreo into a vet as soon as possible. If he has worms in his feces, it means he is suffering from intestinal worms, which can cause the blood. I am very concerned about the color of his feces, the green can be a sign of a bacterial infection. Please take him into the vet.

A greenish vaginal discharge that persists after the kittens have been delivered can indicate a retained kitten, and/or a retained placenta (although retained placentas are not usually a problem in dogs and cats). Regardless of the underlying cause, this is not normal - I would strongly recommend taking Coco to the vet for an exam as soon as possible. He/she can take x-rays to see if there is still a kitten inside her or if something else is wrong. She may need treatment with antibiotics or even surgery to remove her uterus depending on what is found.
