My unvaccinated cat has fever, vomiting, not eating. Is it distemper?

It is not a typical reaction to the feline distemper vaccine. If he is otherwise acting fine then you could withhold food for 12 hours and see if the vomiting and diarrhea resolves. If not, he should be rechecked by your veterinarian to determine the cause and treat. Your veterinarian can prescribe medications to help control the vomiting and diarrhea. Your vet can test a stool sample for parasites and then prescribe a dewormer, if needed. If he is lethargic then he should be examined as soon as possible. Hope he feels better soon.

I am very concerned about your cat. Did your veterinarian give you a reason for the fever? Also do you know what the shot was? My concern is with a younger cat and a fever that there is always the possibility of a cat with FIP (Feline Infectious Peritionitis). There is no real test for this and is more a diagnosis of exclusion. I would discuss this with your veterinarian tomorrow to see if with what is going on with your cat this may be a possibility. It sounds as your cat is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection (could be parvo). it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet the first chance you get, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.

This is definitely a sign that he has nausea, it could be due to cat distemper (cat parvo), but it could also be due to other things, if this keeps happening and he stops eating you will need to take him to the vet ASAP in order to get treatment.

Smokey is a handsome boy, and I'm sorry he's sick! He could have eaten something rotten, could have a foreign body, may have pancreatitis, or could have a GI illness causing his symptoms. It's serious when a cat doesn't eat, as it predisposes them to a fatty liver which is fatal without treatment. Given he's been sick since Friday, he needs veterinary care now. Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. I’m sorry Luna is so sick. It sounds like she needs to see a veterinarian very soon. Young kittens do not have much reserve and can become dehydrated very quickly. Please take a fresh poop sample with you when you go to the veterinarian. They will likely want to look for intestinal parasites and possibly do some blood work to look for panleukopenia.
