My cat just had surgery. Is a fever normal or should I worry?

My cat recently went through surgery, is it normal that he has a fever?

I am sorry to hear about your concern for Linus. We would not expect a fever after surgery, so if you think he has a fever I would recommend an examination at a veterinarian as soon as possible. Normal cat temperature in a cat can range from 100 to 102.5, so if his temperature is above 102.5 I would contact his vet!
