Head tilt could be caused by deep inner ear infection (or polyp), stroke, infection such as toxoplasmosis, stroke, or even tumor although that would be rare at her age. If the toxo test comes back normal then I would consider requesting a referral to a neurologist where an MRI of the brain can be done. These symptoms suggest that Stidi hs problems with the middle ear (infection, inflammation, polyp, tumour) or it may be related to brain disfunction (blood clot within the brain, ruptured vessel in the brain, tumor). Please, take Stidi to your local vets as soon as possible. If the symptoms are due to middle ear problem, he will need a course of strong anti-inflammatory medications and possibly antibiotics to get better.

It's hard to say if this is a permanent change or not. The injury that is listed on the paper can be life-threatening. I would recommend strict confinement in a small kennel (like bed-rest for a human) to avoid aggravating the injury. After 4-6 weeks of rest, we will have a better idea if it is a permanent change or not.

Neurologic injuries can take weeks to months to resolve if there is going to be any healing. Nervous tissue takes a long time to regenerate. Keep in close contact with your veterinarian, consider more advanced care if possible, and make sure that he is receiving adequate nutrition as he recovers.
