My cat has an eye growth. Is it a stye or something serious?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 20 lbs

What is this? Stye or something more serious? Present for at least 3 months.

Hello. That looks like a growth, not a sty. It may be benign or malignant, but due to the close proximity to his eyelid margin, it would be best to consider surgery to remove it. If it continues to get larger, it may cause issues with the eye or tear glands. Please have your veterinarian examine your cat and discuss surgical options. Thank you

    Unfortunately, this also looks like a growth/ tumor on the eyelid, not a swelling. Since it is covering so much of the upper eyelid, surgery to remove it will much more difficult and involved and may be best addressed by a veterinary eye specialist. I would ask your veterinarian to refer you to one for a second opinion and to discuss surgery to remove this.
