Can my cats eat fried eggs? Is it safe for 15-year-old and 1-year-old?

A small amount is fine. As long as they are thoroughly cooked it should be OK for your cat to have some of an egg yolk. It is best that their main source of food is a balanced cat food. That ensures they are getting plenty of minerals and vitamins that are necessary in the right ratio's.

Feeding cats raw eggs, peanut butter, popcorn and canned fish sound like old wives' tales with no scientific basis. :-) That said, it is fine to give Penelope a cooked egg 1-2 times per week in addition to a balanced commercial diet. It won't necessarily keep her healthier for longer, but it shouldn't do any harm.

Eggs are fine to give to cats, even the white part, but only if they are cooked. You can scramble up a plain egg (no cheese, milk, salt, pepper, or seasonings) for your cat to have as an occasional treat. Just make sure the egg is fully cooked, raw eggs are not safe for cats. I hope this helps :-)

It is okay to give your cat egg every once in a while as a treat, but should not be an every day event as eggs do have quite a bit of fat in them that could cause an upset stomach for a small 6 lb cat. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I do not recommend giving any of those foods to Theo and Furby. Bacon grease is high in fat and can cause pancreatits, flavored jerkies are typically high in sodium which can cause dehydration or garlic/onion flavors which are toxic to cats and dogs, raw eggs can be contaminated with bacteria and cause diarrhea. If you want to mix something into cat food, there are many canned foods or broths (for cats) available in pet stores that may entice your cats to eat. It’s ok if you are feeding them as “treats” as long as they are cooked and not raw. It is not necessarily “good” to do. The main part of any kitten/cat’s diet should be a food formulated for kittens/cats.

The ideal diet for an adult cat is a balanced commercial cat food. I would purchase one and start offering it as feeding four eggs a day is not a balanced diet and likely not enough nutrition or calories for a cat to sustain itself.
