Is the ear cleaning solution I bought safe for my cat's ears?

That would likely be safe as long as the ear drum is normal. Sometimes infections if the ear can cause the ear drum to tear. EpiOtic ear cleaner is another option that is safe and should be ok even if the ear drum is slightly damaged.

It should be fine. You can moisten a cotton ball and dab the ear tip then monitor for any reaction. If you see none, gently clean the ears. Nolvasan Otic and EpiOtic are also acceptable ear cleaners. Use only cotton balls, not cotton swabs to clean just what you can see and reach with a finger.

As long as it is a cat approved product and not a dog product an the wright ranges are correct then it is fine to use. A small amount of cats have an allergic reaction to any topical product where there can be hair loss at the application site but if this has never happened before then it is unlikely to happen now

That is a mild amount of discharge that can easily cleaned with a some wet cotton (do not use cotton buds) ONLY on the outside of the ear canal (basically the bit you have taken the pics of). You can use a cleaning solution for the ears (Sancerum or Cleanaural) but only once a week or every two weeks. Use enough to fill the ear canal. Gently massage the base of the ear, then let her shake her head. You may want to do this outdoors in a secure area or in the tub. Use a cotton ball to dry the outer ear. Do not insert anything into her ear canal.
