Cat drooling after flea treatment, now sleeping. Vet visit needed?

Flea spray can cause a reaction such as you're describing, especially if she ingests some of it, which cats will often do while grooming. Hopefully it's just a reaction to the taste of the spray, and will pass quickly. If it continues for more than a couple of hours, or if she becomes lethargy or unsteady, take her in to the vet immediately, as she could have a more serious reaction to the medication. Also, if the spray contains pyrethrin, have her seen immediately, as this is highly toxic to cats.

Drooling is a sign of ingestion of flea medication, and if Peanut Butter has symptoms that progress to lethargy, facial twitching, agitation, seizures, or vomiting, he will need to see a vet immediately. At the moment, I would flush his mouth out with cool water, and I wouldn't offer him any food. The watery eyes could be related to something different, such as allergies or an eye infection. He should see a vet as soon as possible. It's not likely to be a symptom of the fleas but it could be a symptom of the flea treatment you use, some of them can cause a side effect of lethargy and lack of appetite which usually does not last more than 24 hours. if by tomorrow Jax is not better, i would recommend taking him to your vet to get checked and treated.

Broken tooth, mouth ulcers, electrocution (does she chew cords?) toxin, GI upset, foreign body, and more can all cause this - and all need some degree of medical attention. The drooling can be a sign of nausea in cats, but given that Rex hasn't had a change in activity, appetite, or anything else, I would keep an eye on him for now. It could be chewing on those plants has upset his stomach, and I would keep them out of reach. Try feeding him a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If he's still drooling in another 24 hours after being on this diet or anything else changes from the normal, then I would have him seen by a vet.

Although Misty was improved when you brought her home and the tremors stopped, I would expect it will take her a few days to get back to normal. This is very common after a stressful event like a hospital stay. Give Misty 3-5 days to become reacclimated to her environment. Offer her lots of attention, treats, and keep stress as minimal as possible. If, after this period of time she’s still not acting normal, I would recommend taking her back in for a recheck examination.

If Roxy was just dewormed it could be causing her a bit of nausea and GI upset as the worms die-off, which could be causing the drooling. However, if the drooling continues, worsens, she shows other signs of illness, or she seems in distress/disoriented, bringing her back to the vet for additional examination is best to make sure there isn't something else going on.
