Why is my cat dragging her butt with diarrhea and stuck poop?

Diarrhea can occur with a food sensitivity or allergy, so her current diet could be contributing to the problem. Other possibilities include persistent parasites, bacterial imbalance, or inflammatory bowel disease. You may want to consider putting her on a prescription gastrointestinal or hypoallergenic diet. A probiotic supplement may help. Lastly you may want to consider bringing her back to the vet to have a fecal test done if this hasn't been repeated. It may be that she needs a course of anti-diarrheal medication in order to fully resolve the diarrhea.

It sounds however like she might have something else going on, and dragging her bum on the ground suggests that she is itchy. I would start by deworming her, as she likely has worms. Based on her history, stress from the visit or a change in treats may be the cause. You can try a medication like ProPectalin AntiDiarrheal Gel for Dogs & Cats that has probiotics and a small amount of kao pectate in it - it also tastes good. If the diarrhea/soft stools continue next week, or if Pico starts showing signs of lethargy, inappetence, or straining, I would definitely have her checked out by a vet.

Diarrhea and a decrease in appetite could be a sign of a number of different problems. Intestinal parasites are possible, even for indoor cats, as are some infections or diseases like colitis or inflammatory bowel disease. If the diarrhea continues for more than 24 hours or seems to be getting worse, or if her appetite does not improve during that time I'd recommend seeing your veterinarian. I would recommend that you have another visit with the vet about the ongoing issues and the change in color of the diarrhea to see what is the next diagnostic step.

Kodak could have a parasite, inflammation of his intestines, or some other infection causing this intermittent diarrhea. Sometimes a deworming is needed, sometimes antibiotics, other times the diet change. Rarely we have to give steroids to decrease inflammation. I recommend you consult with your veterinarian if they would like to perform any sort of testing on Kodak or try any sort of treatment to help with his diarrhea. They may want to do a fecal exam or perhaps some bloodwork to make sure everything's OK.
