My cat is going in for a dental cleaning soon. I know not to feed him after 10 PM the night before the procedure to prevent aspiration of food (and I won't regardless of the answer to this question). However, my concern is that my cat vomits when he is hungry and I am worried that he could potentially aspirate his bile instead. Is this possible? Should I be worried? I am considering not going through with the appointment because of this.
