My cat won't stop crying and tries to run out of my room. Why?

My cat won't stop crying at all I try to leave my room he runs out the room the first days he didn't do this but ever time he hears the door he runs to it ... Wen I'm in the room he won't stop crying I feed him n he Still Cry's I really don't know what to do he climbs on me . my mother recently passed n she didn't like pets inside the house n I keep my kitten with me in the room were she stayed n my dad things its that I really dont know what to do

It sounds like a stressful time at your house. I’m so sorry to hear about your mom. It is very common for cats to want to explore their surroundings. This is especially true of in tact animals. Often, neutering a cat will make him less interested in escape. The crying and trying to escape will also be much worse if there is a female in heat anywhere in your neighborhood. If this is the case, It will not stop until her is neutered or the female cat leaves. If it’s really important that Lumi stay in your room, try making your room appealing by adding a cat tower or high shelf for him to climb up to, fun toys, a scratching post, or an indoor cat garden (potted edible plants that are safe for cats to eat). My cat keeps crying at the door to go outside. What should I do?

This will depend on whether you want your kitty to be an indoor only cat or an indoor/outdoor cat. If you do not want him an outside cat you will just have to bear with it. He will eventually stop wanting to go out. You can also make a cat enclosure outside, so he can get at least the illusion of being outside. If you don't mind that your kitty goes outside, you can take him out for a walk in the yard or garden and then bring him in again. extend the trips every day. Make sure you do not free feed him then, but feed him canned food in the morning and evening calling him by name. That way he will come home when you call him. Make sure he stays inside at night.

Why is my unneutered 11-month-old male cat meowing and crying at night?

I would say it is time to neuter Hobi! He is likely yeowling at night by the window because he wants to go prowling for females with whom he can mate. Even if he does find one to mate with, he's still going to want to go out every night to find females, so the way to stop this behavior is to have him neutered. Why is my fixed male cat crying so much after eating, morning & night?

Is he a young cat? If so he may be looking for something to do such as hunting. If he is an older cat then I would be worried about possible hyperthyroidism or diabetes. You may want to consider different toys or tall cat trees that allow him to watch birds out of the window. Why is my 10-month-old female cat screaming and wanting outside?

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Lucy is adorable! If Lucy isn't spayed she is likely in heat. She will continue to go in and out of heat until she is either bred or you spay her. She likely wants to get outside to mate. If she is spayed then she may see or hear other outdoor cats and want to get outside. Cats are very territorial. How do I stop my male cat from screaming all night and wanting out?

You may have to have him castrated which would likely make him less adamant to go out and look for girl cats, You may also have to just ignore him for a while (use ear plugs) and not let him out when he cries, so he realises that crying will not get you to let him out.
