Cat ate cranberry. Can it cause red diarrhea, sweet smell, vomiting?

Pancreatitis in cats is relatively poorly understood, like your vet suggests allergy is thought to play a part in starting the inflammation process in neighbouring organs. IfMylo is allergic to peas etc then it is quite possible he is allergic to cranberries also. Sometimes berries upset the stomach which could lead to inflammation and aggravate the pancreas. You could try cutting the cranberries out and see if that helps. Apart from that all you can really do is try and avoid the allergic foods, and there is a school of thought that thinks non processed food is beneficial.

Citrus fruits (especially if the juice was near 100% juice) can cause some GI upset in cats. I would recommend monitoring Tigger for any vomiting and/or diarrhea or lack of appetite. If he only got a small amount, and there was mostly water and sugar in the juice, then he will likely be just fine. If you do see mild symptoms of GI upset, then a vet visit is the next best step. He may need a short course of antibiotics and probiotics and a bland diet to get him back to normal. Pink diarrhea can be caused by eating foods with a lot of red dye, but you would usually see the stools be a rust color, not pink. I would be more concerned that there is blood in the stool causing the off color. Bloody diarrhea (and chronic vomiting and diarrhea) in a cat can be caused by food intolerance or allergies, intestinal parasites, bacterial or viral gastroenteritis (such as panleukopenia virus), GI blockage, inflammatory bowel disease, among others. I would recommend that you have another visit with the vet about the ongoing issues and the change in color of the diarrhea to see what is the next diagnostic step.

You may see some gastrointestinal upset (vomiting and/or diarrhea) in the next 4-12 hours. The ingredients should not cause anything worse. Withhold food for 12 hours then offer a bland diet in small, frequent amounts until symptoms resolve. Transition slowly to the regular diet afterwards. It sounds as Selina is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it might not be related to the adult food she ate, the blood and complete lack of appetite is very worrying. i would recommend taking her to the vet the first chance you get, she will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection she will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.

Oh no, poor Toffee! She sounds quite sick at the moment, and her vomiting and diarrhea could be caused by a GI illness, eating something rotten or toxic, a foreign body, or pancreatitis. I see that she isn't spayed, and her symptoms could also be caused a pyometra, which is a life threatening infection of the uterus. When a cat is having both diarrhea and vomiting, it's time to see a vet immediately to prevent her from getting severely dehydrated and sicker. She does need veterinary attention now, please take her into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. As long as Tinkerbell is behaving and eating normally, try withholding food for 12-24 hours. Allow small amounts of water or unflavored PediaLyte during this period.
