My cat had a salamander in its mouth. Is it poisonous for cats?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | 2 years and 1 month old | 3 lbs

My 2 year old cat just had a salamander in his mouth. I got him to drop it n it didn't look like he had chews on it. Should I be worried or not?

I'd keep a close eye on Spaz for now. They are poisonous to cats, and he could suffer a reaction to it. Rinse his mouth out with cool water, and if you see vomiting, drooling, and he starts staggering around, have him seen by a vet right away. Best of luck.
