What dry food is best for my 2-year-old long-haired cat on Iams?

A high quality food of science diet, royal canin, iams, or purina are great brands. Iams makes a hairball control. You can also purchase hairball medications/supplements and use your favorite food.

I'm not familiar with this brand of food to be honest. Brands I recommend include Royal Canin, Hill's Science Diet, Purina ProPlan, and Iams. I would feed Ryo one of those brands, and make sure it's a kitten formulated food. He needs kitten food until he is a year old. Best of luck.

Congratulations on your new puppy! Pepe Le Pew is absolutely adorable!! Iams puppy food is a perfectly fine food to feed him. I would recommend if you wanted to switch foods to wait two weeks before you do that. This was he gets comfortable in his environment before switching anything. You can do Iams, Science Diet, Nutro, Eukanuba and even Royal Canin. These companies do a lot of research on foods and are well balanced. Royal Canin is a high quality food brand and either formula would be absolutely fine. If Lazgah develops vomiting, diarrhea, or excessive hairballs on one formula, transition him to the other one. Any time you make a change in diet, be sure to do so gradually over 5-7 days. I don't think you can make a wrong choice with either food!

Honestly, both are great foods! The companies run feeding trials and employ veterinary nutritionists on staff to make sure the food is balanced correctly. I personally feed my own dogs Iams, but you could feed Chloe either. Best of luck.

Any major brand name that has an indoor care cat food line would be good. So this would mean something like Purina indoor cat, pedigree, Hills or Royal Canin. If you want to change the food do so slowly as sudden food changes can cause diarrhea and inappetence in a cat. So gradually mix the new food in with their old food, increasing the amount of new food over about a week time.

Yes, I personally like Royal Canin diets. For her age, just the regular Adult food is fine. Canned food can be very expensive if that is all you are feeding. You can also feed a combination of both wet and dry if you'd like. Feed her according to the directions on the packaging. If you do both wet and dry you need to make sure you don't overfeed her. She is already at her maximum weight so if you notice weight gain you will need to back off on how much you are feeding.
