Hi, I am adopting a kitten to add to the household along with my two adult cats. I know the general rule is to wait to move the kitten from the mother is 8 weeks however on this occasion I have a week booked off work (that I am unable to change) due to occur when the kitten hits 7 weeks old. What would be best for the kitten; the full eight weeks with its mother but not the company when we first move it, or having the week being able to get used to the move with human company but a week early?
