You should feed her kitten food, canned food if possible because it adds water to her diet since most cats don't drink a ton of water. This in turn helps promote good urinary and kidney health long term. You should get a high quality kitten food such as Fromm, Hills science diet, Royal Canin, Evo or Eukanuba. I would recommend that you start them on a balanced kitten food instead of the a/d. a/d tastes good and is high in fat, but it is not an appropriate diet for long-term use in healthy pets. The amount to feed would depend on the diet you choose - there will always be feeding guidelines on the pet food packaging. You can choose either wet kitten food or dry food, and it may help to mix some of the kitten milk replacer in with either food to make a mush. At such a young age, I would leave plenty of food out and let them free feed, making sure it stays as fresh as possible. You can also take kibble from this pre-measured amount and hide pieces around the house. This encourages a cat's normal hunting behavior. If you place kibble on high surfaces she will have to jump. Intestinal parasites may be competing with her nutritional needs. At 5 weeks I do not think you need to use the formula any more. I would feed her 3-4 times per day and leave some dry food down. At 5 weeks Baby should be old enough to start eating some solid food. You can try mixing some canned kitten food with some kitten formula like KMR and putting it in a shallow dish. If she still won’t eat I would recommend seeing a veterinarian to determine what might be wrong. They can also teach you how to tube feed if necessary.
