My parakeet bobs head & clicks beak eating pellets. Is he choking?

He may be regurgitating for you. It is characterized by an up and down pumping motion of the head as you described. This is normal. Mino is trying to get food/seed up to share with you. Consider it a high compliment from your feathered friend! As long as he is behaving normally otherwise (no lethargy, loss of appetite or loose droppings), there is likely no cause for concern.

If the beak is intact and attached firmly to the head, there is likely no cause for concern. Some birds will click or grind their beaks when they are settling down for the night or if they are comfortable. You can monitor for decreased appetite, weight loss or lethargy. These symptoms would indicate illness or injury. An exam with your veterinarian or an experienced avian vet would be recommended if Ocke develops any of these symptoms.

Birds can sometimes rub their beaks on stuff to relax/play with things, to wipe after eating, or just if they are interested or excited. By itself it doesn't really mean much. If Luna is showing signs of illness in addition to this, such as listless behavior, sleeping a lot, not wanting to eat or drink, or she seems disoriented, unable to perch, etc, then seeking a vet visit in person is always best.

That just sounds like a relaxation behavior or possibly adjusting the food in her crop, and is very normal. As long as Juno is otherwise healthy, active, and happy, I would not be too concerned. If she shows any signs of illness in addition to this, seems in distress, or does it constantly without stopping, seeking a vet exam in person is always best.

I have not heard of birds clicking their tongues when they are sick. Birds are more likely to show other symptoms when sick like: fluffing up their feathers, staying at the bottom of the cage, shaking, sleeping a lot, not eating or drinking normally, abnormal stools, etc. I would not worry about tongue clicking as a sign of illness. Based on the behavior you are describing I am concerned that Alif may have something stuck in her throat/mouth that is causing her discomfort and making her not want to eat. She may also be regurgitating in an attempt to dislodge whatever is stuck. However, this behavior could also be a seizure type behavior. It is hard to say without actually seeing what Alif is doing. You need to get her in to a vet as soon as possible. Until then, continue to offer her plenty of fresh water and her favorite foods to encourage eating. You may also try to gently massage her throat area and see if that helps. Best of luck.

Birds can sometimes do this motion to adjust their crop after eating, however if it is happening often, Warrior seems to be having trouble breathing, or there are other signs of illness (lethargic, not eating as much, listless, etc), a vet visit is best to rule out health issues.
