My budgie has a blood blister on its nostril. Is it serious?

Oh goodness. Poor little Guy. Unfortunately the pictures are too blurry to really visualize the lesion. I would worry about infection or possible self trauma. Is he rubbing his beak on anything in the cage? Is there crust or discharge from the nostril? If so then he may have an upper respiratory infection and should be seen my an avian veterinarian to develop a treatment plans. I hope he improves quickly .

Based on the pictures you provided it does appear that there is some hemorrhage under the skin of the eye. This is most likely related to trauma (ie hitting the eye/face on something). Keep an eye on it for now. If your bird is otherwise acting normal then I would not worry about it too much. If however the redness spreads or your bird seems painful you should probably take him in to be checked out by your veterinarian. I hope this helps. Thanks for reaching out. Blood from the eye is concerning and a veterinary visit is highly recommended to assess and provide a diagnostic/treatment plan. Corneal scratches can be painful and get infected. Could a family member or friend take him to the vet for you. Monitor food and water intake. Good luck.

I do not see anything wrong with him in these photos. That does not mean that everything is fine. He may have something going on internally. I just suggest you monitor him closely for the next few hours. If he is fine during that time then he will likely be OK. If you notice any abnormal behavior you should have him examined by an avian veterinarian.

You need to monitor her in the next 24 hours, check if she is eating, pooping and moving normally. If the bleeding has stopped there is nothing for you to do other tan the monitoring, if she doesn't seem herself after 24 hours- take her to the vet.

I would not worry about it unless the bleeding persists. It could have been a mild injury or trauma to a feather follicle. As long as he is acting normally I would just monitor it. If it continues to bleed or looks worse at any time then get him to your vet for an exam.
