Birds will not die from a ruptured air sac. The concern is why did it rupture. That could be a problem. You should not lance the air sac as baby birds have poor immune systems and contamination/infection can be serious. See a veterinarian tomorrow.

Your best bet, with any found wild bird, is to try and find a wildlife refuge or veterinary clinic that can take him in. They are better equipped to help treat and rehabilitate sick birds and get them back into the wild safely. Until you can find a place that will take him in, keeping him in a warm hospital cage that is separate from other pets and birds (to prevent the spread of anything) and with access to food and water can help.

I am sorry to hear about your situation. It sounds like she defintely needs medical attention. I would see if your parents can drive her to a rehab center or some rehab volunteers will pick animals up so perhaps you can find someone to do this. Until then I would keep the bird in a quiet dark place and handle it as little as possible.

Providing heat and humidity support are very important. Concerns are over some underlying disease (bacterial, viral, developmental) and that is why hen kicked it out of the nest. When a bird puffs up like this it is usually an indication of illness, pain, or discomfort. Since this is a wild bird I would recommend calling a local wildlife rehabilitation center. People there are trained to take care of birds like this so they can be hopefully reintroduced to the wild. Best of luck.

If struggling to breath, needs to see a veterinarian ASAP, even if this means an emergency visit this evening. No nasal discharge noted on pictures but could still be an upper respiratory condition. You can try placing in the steamy bathroom for 5-10 minutes to see if this helps, but nothing else can be done at home. Respiratory problems can be bacterial or fungal, enlarged organs (liver, spleen), reproductive, inhaled foreign body or toxicity. A veterinary visit is needed to assess and provide a diagnostic/treatment plan. Good luck.
