Hello again. It is always hard to say for sure if Lou will tolerate this food as each dog's digestive tract is unique and can be sensitive to many different diets. However, Purina pro plan is a great diet and a good choice for Lou as he recovers. The Purina company has veterinarians on their team to ensure that all of their foods are nutritionally complete and balanced. Finding Purina Pro Plan regular puppy food for my medium-sized dog?

I am sorry if my answer was not clear. The Purina ProPlan Focus Puppy Chicken and Rice is a regular puppy formula. It is not specific to small or large breed dogs and this would be most appropriate for her given your veterinarian's recommendation. I really like the Science Diet, Royal Canin and Purina Pro Plan products. A diet that I have found to be of very good quality, affordable and dogs love is the Purina Pro Plan shredded blends. You can find that at your local pet store or online. Otherwise any of the diets of the previously mentioned brands would also be good choices for Harley. Good luck!
