Slow feeder cat bowls are great for slowing down cat eating speeds. One of the most common health problems among cats is obesity, and slow feeders not only help slow down the intake of calories but increase the amount of calories required to get food. Slow feeders can make mealtime for our natural-born predators feel more like hunting. Since cats often eat out of boredom, slow feeders can help turn mealtime into playtime.
Yes. They provide mental stimulation that can make mealtimes feel like hunting and can help reduce overeating.
Cat slow feeders are a great way to slow down your cat’s eating. You can extend mealtime by making it interactive and fun for your cat.

Cat has sores by licking until raw
why does my cat lick the dry bathtub
How do you prevent a cat from licking her paws and to stay calm after a laser declaw and what’s the best way to train cats to not go after my food?
I have a 6 month old female German Shepard mix, she doesn't use her tongue at all. Not to drink, eat or to give kisses. She has never stuck it out of her mouth. Well she eats really fast and I don't want her to get bloat. But she won't eat out of the slow feeding bowls because she won't stick her tongue out her mouth. I've tried the big rock in the bowl she still scarfes her food down, what can I do?
My vet is having tony try to transition to a kidney diet but whether it’s his kidney food or his senior diet he tends to lick the pate rather than pick it up in chunks and once he’s licked too much of it he no longer wants it and I have to start a fresh bowl..and we repeat the process. Is this a normal cat behavior? I tend to waste a lot of food because of this
Hi, is it necessary or benificial to add water to dry kibble and soak it before feeding? Will this enable them to digest the kibble better? I heard this is helpful and comparable to feeding a canned diet. I would add 1/2 cup per 1/3 cup of kibble. This would make it resemble a canned diet of 80% moisture. Is this a good idea? Also, do you recommend a slow feeder bowl for fast eaters? Or is it ok to use a regular bowl? Mine eats her serving in under a minute (1/3 cup kibble)
Rayne chewed a plastic food bowl and cut her upper lip. She licks everything. What can I put on this? It almost seems her lip is cracking. Threw bowl away. Thanks
I just bought the new breeze litter system. One of my kittens is eating the litter? Should I be concerned? Should I remove the litter? Is there anything I can apply to the litter to discourage her eating it?
My cat has a sore on his upper lip and one under his chin i believe its from him having a plastic water dish what can i do to heal them? I attached two photos of the one on his lip
Which is the best premium cat wet food out of Fancy Feast, Pro Plan and VIP Fussy Cat Grainfree+? Any other recommendations? TIA.
He keeps licking a hot spot until it bleeds. Only way to stop it is the Cone of Shame, but we have to remove it occasionally. Is there something we can apply to the area to make taste so bad he won't lick it?
My cats chew and shred paper and cardboard incessantly. Help!
