We just got a new kitten and she eats like she's never seen food before in her life and then throws up bc she eats so fast. This slow feeder works really well to slow her down when she eats, especially with wet food. We are planning on getting another and using these for every meal with her. We had bought our first one a couple years ago for our first cat and it worked ok with her. I don't think she really understood how to use it and didn't eat too much from it. She ended up slowing down when she ate as she got older so we stopped using it. But now that we have the kitten, it's been really handy. We'd love to see similar slow feeders in different designs for cats :)

I bought it for my cat a few weeks ago. She is liking it so far.

I bought this bowl a few weeks ago thinking it would slow down my cat while he eats. The bowl is like a toy to him. He just sticks his paw in it and scoops out all the food. Literally a mess everywhere.

I have only used this twice, once with wet food and once with dry food and water mixed in for added hydration. My kitten usually gobbles her food up so fast that you can’t even finish your abc’s without her finishing her food and singing the rest with you. I left her with this bowl as I did my skincare, fully expecting to come back to her licking her lips & grooming herself already. She wasn’t even halfway finished! It definitely slows down her feeding and quadruples the time it takes her to eat. The bowl is nice and big and very sturdy. I guess the only thing I wish was different was that it was stainless steel because it holds less bacteria, and that the grooves were lower/a slightly different shape to prevent whisker fatigue!

Good: dishwasher safe, seems to be slowing him down from gulping food. I really hate the color though; wish it came in something other than Pepto Bismol pink!

I bought this because my cat ate way too fast and would often throw up unchewed food and this has helped immensely! She can't scarf her food down and she has not thrown up in the month since she's had it. At first she didn't understand how to eat around the little nubs but she figured it out after the first day.

Very helpful in getting both cats to slow down when eating. Definitely a good buy!
