My ferret has a heart condition. How can I treat his fleas safely?

You would need to confirm dosing with your veterinarian or a vet experienced in treating ferrets before application. These products include Revolution, Advantage or Program. You can bathe Bootsie in warm water with a few drops of Dawn dish liquid. A fine toothed comb can be used afterwards to remove dead or dying fleas. Vacuum everywhere Bootsie has been and wash all bedding. A ferret safe area treatment should be used to prevent reinfestation.

Frontline is off-label use for ferrets, but is safe and effective. Hello, if the product you are using is not working, you might want to try Advantage Multi, but I would think between the drops you are using & the bathing, the fleas should be gone. You might also try completely changing out your enclosure, using a completely different substrate, just in case Mike is sensitive to what you are using now.
