My rabbit seems sick with many issues. How much will treatment cost?

I wish I could tell yo I exactly how much it will cost but since cost varies for different areas and different clinics, I would recommend you to call the vet you plan to use and ask them for an estimate for an exam, possible ear cytology if needed, sedation if needed and an ivermectin injection if it is ear mites. They should be able to give you a rough estimate over the phone but I would also ask them to give you a more exact estimate after the exam as sometimes treatment changes after the exam. When rabbits start showing signs of being sick then they are usually quite sick, so I would suggest stressing to your mom that your rabbit might be in pain or suffering and needs to see a vet so he doesn't hurt. If she still won't let you take him, then you can try getting 'Critical Care' Food from the petstore and try feeding this, or try mixing up some pineapple juice in some pellets and hay and see if Cosmo will eat this. You can always try calling around clinics to find the least expensive vet, or try calling your local humane society.
