It should be fine. You can moisten a cotton ball and dab the ear tip then monitor for any reaction. If you see none, gently clean the ears. Nolvasan Otic and EpiOtic are also acceptable ear cleaners. Use only cotton balls, not cotton swabs to clean just what you can see and reach with a finger.

Rabbits get ear mites commonly and it's very difficult to see all the way into a rabbit ear canal without the proper equipment. Schedule an exam with your rabbit vet to have his ears examined with an otoscope. He may need to be sedated for this, and your vet may want to do an ear cytology as well. I have used topical Revolution very successfully to treat rabbits in the past if this is his issue. Also, ear mites are very contagious between bunnies!

A veterinary visit is recommended to assess and provide a diagnostic/treatment plan, as each are a different medication. Don't attempt to clean it out as this could cause more bleeding. You should not need to flush your bunny's eyes, as a healthy bunny should not have a discharge from his eye. If you think there is a lot of dust that is bothering your rabbit and you want to remove that you can gently flush the eyes with some 0.9% saline solution available from your pharmacy. If there is a discharge of pus or if you think there is a bigger foreign body that needs to be removed, your bunny needs to be seen by a veterinarian, as your bunni could be suffering from an upper respiratory infection, or a nasty abscess, or tooth problems.

In this case, seeing a vet is absolutely necessary. Ear infections cannot be treated at home, and if they are left untreated, they can lead to hearing loss. BunBun should see a vet as soon as possible. I would check the product instructions and follow that. I recommend that you have Oreo evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment.
