What causes a rabbit to limp on one leg with no visible injury?

I am sorry to hear about Bun Buns! Rabbits unfortunately are prone to developing back injuries which can cause weakness or paralysis in the hind legs due to neurological damage. I would recommend confining Bun Buns and getting him to the vet as soon as possible for evaluation. The vet will do a physical examination, test reflexes, and may recommend an x-ray to help determine what is causing his symptoms and how best to treat Bun Buns.

The most common reason for a young rabbit to be limping would be generalized musculoskeletal pain from something traumatic. Limping in rabbits are not very common unless they suffered a severe trauma that either caused a fracture or a joint displacement, Sebs will need to have an X-ray done at the vets in order to evaluate the condition, if i had to guess it is probably a serious injury that will require surgery.

We would be worried about a possible broken bone, an abscess or wound causing swelling, cellulitis, edema, and more. Your bunny needs to go to a vet for an examination. They will palpate his leg and may recommend an x-ray if they feel a broken bone is possible.

If she is holding the foot in the air and not using it, it's probably a serious injury, either a fracture or a dislocation. you need to take her to the vet ASAP, they will need to check her and will probably recommend doing an xray to evaluate the severity of the injury.

Sorry to hear about Chinti. There could be numerous causes for her sore leg ranging from a traumatic injury through to arthritis. It would be best to have a vet examine it to try and determine the exact cause, xrays may be needed. The vet can then treat accordingly likely with an antinflammatory painkiller. Her runny nose also needs addressed as it sounds like she has a respiratory infection which can be dangerous. Again best to see a vet as she will likely need antibiotics to treat it.
