The caging is inappropriate, as it is a bird cage. The bars are too far apart and limbs/feet can get caught. Good luck.

This hip X-ray looks normal. She is not absolutely square so each side doesn’t look even. She’s a young dog so the bones are not fully calcified so that also makes it look like there may be a fracture but there is not one. I like the angle of the head of the femur and it’s seated fairly well into the socket. If she has hip pain it can be from bone inflammation or a ligament problem also. I am sorry to hear about Bun Buns! Rabbits unfortunately are prone to developing back injuries which can cause weakness or paralysis in the hind legs due to neurological damage. I would recommend confining Bun Buns and getting him to the vet as soon as possible for evaluation. The vet will do a physical examination, test reflexes, and may recommend an x-ray to help determine what is causing his symptoms and how best to treat Bun Buns.

A veterinary visit is recommended this evening, as back traumas are more difficult to recover from, the longer you wait. The position of his neck/head, lend to believe this is painful. If she is holding the foot in the air and not using it, it's probably a serious injury, either a fracture or a dislocation. you need to take her to the vet ASAP, they will need to check her and will probably recommend doing an xray to evaluate the severity of the injury.

Hi and thanks for posting! Bunny hopping in dogs can be a sign of hip dysplasia but not always. An x-ray can be taken of the hips to determine if signs of hip dysplasia is present. Bunny hoppingn or a awkward gait can also be a sign of luxation of the knee caps (patellar luxation). If you are concerned you can always get a few x-rays done to check.
