My mouse is sick, can't walk, losing weight. Is she dying?

A veterinary visit is recommended to assess and provide a diagnostic/treatment plan, even if just palliative. Offering water via a syringe could help combat dehydrate, and likewise, softened/wetted food could give calories. If your mouse is very lethargic and feels hot to the touch or feverish, it'd be best to seek vet care ASAP. it is possible there is an underlying illness or infection present, which should be examined and treated as needed by a vet in person. Keeping the mouse warm and hydrated as much as possible may help, but if it is already this ill, care is needed.

Hi, sorry to hear about your mouse. It is possible he has a respiratory illness that is common in rats. This needs to be treated with an antibiotic. i recommend taking him to an exotic vet or a vet than can provide such a small dose of antibiotics. If she will allow, check her teeth to see if they are overgrown or maloccluded. Either may result in a decrease or loss of appetite. Soak her pellets in warm water or a bit of fruit juice to stimulate her appetite and make eating easier. If she still does not eat or continues her aberrant behavior, have her physically examined by your veterinarian to diagnose illness or injury.

It sounds like a gastrointestinal infection, the hunched back is probably due to abdominal pain. i advice you to take her to the vet ASAP in order to have the stools checked (take a sample with you to the vet), she will probably need a course of deworming and antibiotics.

Unfortunately it sounds as if your hamster is very sick. The life span of a hamster is 1.5-2 years so Milla is considered an older hamster. If you are unable to take her to be examined by a veterinarian the best thing you can do for her at home is keep her warm and dry and encourage her to eat as much as possible, even if you are able to hand feed her.
