My hamster has a belly wound, scabs, and walks slow. What to do?

If there is a visible wound and hole in the body and Bob also can't use his leg, it likely means that he is injured or ill. It would be best to bring him to a vet ASAP so the wound can be treated, he can be examined, and any medications given as needed to help him feel better.

Swollen abdomen in a hamster is a sign for concern it could be variety of causes, in older hamster such as Belle the more common causes include: tumor in abdomen, blockage of the intestines, kidney failure, and congestive heart failure. I suggest to take Belle to a vet for examination to try and give you the underlying cause and also due to the possibility of her quality of life issue (eating , drinking, in pain etc). The vet may consider to put a small needle into the abdomen and see if they can drain any fluid off. Whether there is fluid from a tumor or from heart failure.

This could be parasitic, bacterial, fungal, endocrine and more. A veterinary visit is recommended to assess and provide a diagnostic/treatment plan. I can see a darker area on Rosie's bottom, but it is difficult to determine if the lump is actually protruding. Hamsters do have pretty prominent scent glands, and this may be due to poor grooming of the secretions. Older hamsters have a tendency to develop papillomas, which may be uncomfortable and can cause the trouble walking. You should have Rosie seen by a vet to determine exactly what the growth is, they may take a small sample with a fine needle to send off as a biopsy. In the meantime, keep a close eye on the area for increase in size or bleeding, as these are indications for an emergency visit. I hope all is well!

With the swelling, I would be concerned that Midnight has an abscess. I think it would be a good idea to take her into the vet for antibiotics. This should make the infection clear up quickly. Otherwise it could take weeks to heal and it can rarely become chronic which means it does not heal. I hope this helps!

He should be examined by your veterinarian. If he has "wet tail" (proliferative ileitis), he will need treatment and supportive care. Keep his cage clean. Change bedding daily if necessary. Keep him warm and as stress free as possible. Discontinue feeding any treats, fruits or vegetables until he recovers.

I am so very sorry to hear of your concern for Snoopy. It is difficult for us to say without being able to palpate/feel the area. A tumor or cancer is possible but we could also possibly have an abscess or wound here- if he had somehow injured himself on his cage or if he is with another hamster who injured him. I think it is worth bringing Snoopy to a vet if you are able for an exam.
