My guinea pig's pee is white and milky. Should I be concerned?

Help. My guinea pigs pee is white/milky. Is this bad? Should I be panicking?

Hello. A milky white urine could be an indication of pyuria, or infection in the urinary tract. Too much phosphorous in the diet or crystals in the urine can also cause the milky white color. Please make sure Coco's diet is primarily timothy based pellets & hay. Make sure you are not feeding too much in the way of spinach, parsley or celery. Also, make sure you are not overdoing the Vit. C & D supplements. You might want to have the urine analyzed just to make sure this is not anything else that may require additional treatments.
