What guinea pig gender is healthiest and easiest to care for?

I typically only recommend housing same sex pigs together if they have been raised together. Otherwise pigs of the opposite gender or those who have not been raised together should be housed separately. I think they make great little pets. Enjoy!

Hi there. If you're asking about Vetco clinics, they only do basic wellness care and do not perform any surgeries. You will need to call around some some local clinics in your area to find one who works on exotic pets, and ask them about prices for neutering.

One thing you can do to confirm - the lighter colored guinea pig photo is more clear and is a female. The darker one is a bit harder to tell - if you compare them and they look the same then they are both females. If you are unsure, you can also post additional photos.
