My rabbit peed on herself. Can I bathe her safely without shock?

If the bunny seems ok/is behaving normally today (normal appetite/energy/breathing) I wouldn't be worried about toxic effects but skin irritation could result if the wash was very perfumed. If the bunny wasn't too stressed by the bathing you could try washing her with a puppy/kitten shampoo from the pet store to remove any of the remnants of the body wash.

However, if you do need to bathe her, you can use Kaytee Squeaky Clean Critter shampoo. This is fine to use as an over the counter product specifically for rabbits.

It may be inflammation and/or infection due to urine scalding. Ideally, he should be examined by your veterinarian or a vet experienced in treating rabbits for diagnosis and treatment. You can use plain, unscented baby wipes or pet wipes to gently clean his abdominal area. Do not bathe him as it can be stressful and may complicate any underlying condition. Use the wipes and dry him thoroughly afterwards Keep him on clean, dry bedding or soft towels and change them frequently.

Don't apply anything such as a topical antibiotic, because if Snow white ingests it, could cause gastrointestinal upset. If the damaged area becomes infected or enlarges, seek a veterinarian. You can use a "dry bath". Get some cornstarch for infants from the market or pharmacy. Sprinkle it on him and gently rub him down. Use a fine toothed comb to brush out the excess. To clean his feet, use plain unscented baby wipes, pet wipes or a bit of white vinegar on a wash cloth. Scrub gently to remove dirt and odors.

Urine scalding is very serious and treatment must be initiated by your veterinarian. Doing nothing is not an option, nor is simply repeatedly washing the rabbit as this will make it very sore and distressed and will not solve the problem. It will be important for your veterinarian to find out the cause of the problem and take steps to resolve it rather than just try and treat the symptoms. Some underlying causes of urine scalding include obesity, arthritis, urinary tract infection, even crystals in the bladder/urine. Your vet may prescribe antibiotics to help treat Nibbles. I am sorry to hear about Miles. Depending on how soiled he is, this may require taking him to the vet to remove the soiled hair by clipping. I wouldn't recommend doing this at home because rabbit skin is very thin and easy to cut. If the soiled area is not large then soaking his bottom in warm water and a mild shampoo like puppy shamoo then using a comb to comb the soiled area out and being sure to dry the area well may work.
