My rescued baby squirrels are losing weight. What should I feed them?

Pet's info: Small Animal | Squirrel | Male | unneutered

Baby squirrels were rescued a week ago and were doing well for 5 days. One died and the other two have lost immense weight in two days. have been feeding milk and pedialyte solution. How can I nurse them back to health. They seem to be dying.

Thanks for reaching out. Rodents are difficult to hand rear as their milk has a much different conformation that cow's. Hand rearing has been more successful utilizing goat's milk with whipping cream (high fat content). The pedialyte might be diluting nutrients to where not enough calories are being delivered. This is hard.
