How to safely remove stubborn vet tape from my baby bearded dragon?

I can’t seem to get the tape that the vet put on my beardie off, I feel like it will hurt her if I pull too hard since she’s a baby and she starts freaking out when I try to take it off, I’ve had her soaking in a warm bath for about 10 minutes but it still isn’t budging(they taped it up because her leg was bum and they didn’t know if it was MBD or if it will heal on its own with the leg secured with tape) what can I do to take the tape off. Should I just keep her soaking for a while longer ?

You can try using a bit of olive oil and a cotton swab to gently remove the tape. Additional soaking may help remove it as well. Remove the pieces you have unwrapped so she doesn't get tangled or hung up on anything. If you use scissors, be very careful to not cut her.

My baby bearded dragon got paint on him. Is it toxic? What now?

This paint is not toxic to them, so no need to worry too much. This type of paint is quite difficult to remove though. The only way to remove it would be to use finger nail polish or simple green cleaner, but you would have to be very careful and need to rinse it off really well. Considering the cleaner could cause more problems than the paint, I wouldn't bother trying to clean it off. I would just wait for it to come off the next time he sheds; which happens rather often in a juvenile. I hope that helps and all is well with Truffles.

Eclipse should be examined by an experienced herp veterinarian. He may need antibiotics to treat or prevent infection. Monitor for discharge, lethargy, odor or loss of appetite. Keep the area clean and dry. You can apply a dab of triple antibiotic ointment topically. Use paper towels as substrate until the spot heals. It may take a a couple sheds, but he should recover. In the future, if he ever gets any adhesive stuck on him, use a bit of olive oil to soak the area then gently remove the adhesive.

Leopard gecko ate duct tape after shedding. Should I be worried?

Depending on the size of the piece of tape, there is cause for concern. A small section has a good chance of passing through uneventfully. A larger piece carries with it the risk of obstruction. Monitor Athena for the next few days. Hopefully, she will pass the tape without any problems. Daily soaks in a warm 50/50 solution of water and unflavored PediaLyte may help things move along faster. If she becomes lethargic, stops eating or doesn't defecate then have her examined by your veterinarian or a vet experienced in treating reptiles.
