My lizard has yellow skin. What causes it and is it serious?

Yellowing may indicate a bacterial or fungal infection. Certain fungal infections can be quite serious, so an exam with your veterinarian or a vet experienced in treating reptiles would be recommended.
If you can provide the species of lizard as well as an image or two of the lesions in a new post, we may be able to provide more comprehensive advice.
