Is it normal for my leopard gecko to have white toes, pale tongue, or yellow urates?

The deficiency can lead to changes in skin cells (cornea, toes, etc) that affect shedding and can lead to secondary infections. Besides improving the diet, the eyes should be cleaned out during a veterinary visit, and antibiotics prescribed. Warm water soaks can help with the toes to soften the skin, and gently remove. Submit a stool sample o your veterinarian to diagnose intestinal parasites. Clean and sanitize the cage, bowls and tank furniture. Discard anything that cannot be sanitized. Check Gecky's other toes and tail for any stuck shed. This can compromise blood supply, resulting in lost digits. If he has a tough time shedding, soak him or mist him daily during a shed and provide a moist hide at each end of the enclosure. Monitor the foot for swelling, redness, bleeding or discharge. See your vet if necessary to treat infection. A daily soak in diluted betadine or chlorhexidine can keep the area clean. Use plain paper towels as a substrate and change them daily until he is healed.

The color change may be due to stress or low temps. The dot could be liver or gall bladder. If he is behaving, eating and defecating normally, there is likely no cause for concern. Check enclosure temperatures and adjust if necessary. Monitor the spot for any change and monitor his demeanor. See your veterinarian or an experienced herp vet for an exam if necessary.

Two female geckos cam live together peacefully as long as the enclosure is of sufficient size. Two males should never be housed together. Gender cannot be determined by the images posted. Males can be differentiated from females by the presence of a V shaped line of pre anal pores just in front of the vent and hemipenal bulges behind it. It is likely he was stressed. Give him some time to settle down and he should be fine. Keep an eye on his feet and toes. If there is any discoloration, have him examined by your veterinarian or a vet experienced in treating reptiles.
