My fence lizard is alone. Can I add another lizard without fighting?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

I have a fence lizard and I feel bad he is alone. Is there any lizard I can pair him with that won’t kill him or Vice versa. He is a sweet baby but I don’t want him alone

Males are difficult because they can be territorial. This can result in aggression and potential injuries.
Mixing different species is never recommended.
Introducing a female may be your only option, but you risk breeding and unwanted or accidental clutches of eggs.
