My crested gecko scraped his face on a feeding tool. Is he okay?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Reptile | Gecko | Male | unneutered | 5 months and 16 days old

Is this ok?! My crested gecko Oakley was eating and the feeding tool was in the way and he jumped on it by accident and hit his face! It scrapped his face a little. Can you see it? Thanks!

Thanks for reaching out about Oakley and including photos. As the lesion on the pictures appears superficial, they should heal well without further attention. Monitor, measure and correct any husbandry or dietary concerns.
Good luck.
