Pet's info: Reptile | Bearded Dragon | Male | unneutered | 1lb
My bearded dragon has 2 swollen toes and seems to be in pain. Some days he just drags himself around like his legs dont work. Multiple people told me that its gout. My boyfriend says he doesnt have money to take him to a vet. What can I do for him from home? How fatal is it? Would you suggest maybe trying to work out a payment plan with the local vet?

Hello, sorry to hear about Shenron. It looks like he could potentially have gout which is typically secondary to poor diet or kidney disease. Unfortunately, this condition can be very painful and difficult to treat. Some pets may respond to supportive care, however, the best treatment therapy would be determined by your veterinarian.
This typically requires a full diet evaluation and some potential bloodwork. Please have Shenron evaluated by his veterinarian soon to determine what changes may need to be made, Hope this helps and best of luck.
