My guppy had few fry but still looks pregnant. Is this normal?

She may have had too many babies developing and sacrificed some eggs in order to have the rest of them develop properly. I would not upset her now by removing the eggs. I suggest you leave her in the breeder box until she has the rest of the babies. Ignore the eggs on the bottom of the box, It is likely that they will not survive. But Platys have young all the time, so it is not such a problem. She will have live young soon.

Hello. As long as Panther is content caring for her newborn, then there is not too much to worry about. If she does not have any more in the next 2-3 hours, then I think it would be an excellent idea to have your vet take a look, but there does not seem to be anything to panic about just yet. Stage 1 of labor can last up to 24 hours, but I would keep a close eye on her. Once she starts pushing she should not labor more than 4 hours without a kitten. I would contact your veterinarian as a precaution and simply let them know what is happening.

Occasionally, there can be 2-4 hours between puppies. If she is actively straining for an hour or more without producing a pup then she should be examined by your veterinarian right away. An exam and abdominal x-rays would be recommended in this situation anyway to confirm the presence or absence of additional pups inside Dhorina.

Normally guinea pig labor should be short, around 40 minutes, so if an hour has passed since Elsa has her baby with no sign of the other, I would take her into the vet immediately. It could be that her second baby is too big to come out, and she may need a c section to deliver that baby safely. I would take her into an ER vet or find a vet on call to see her now.

Cats can sometimea eat while in labor,especially if they are not in active labor (not actively contracting/delivering). And Some cats will deliver kittens spread over a fairly long period (even 24 hours). So it is hard to know if Freya is done having kittens at this point. Good luck with all of your new additions. The belly often remain larger than normal after delivery for several days, fast breathing is quite common especially when she is feeding her kittens. it's possible she still ha kittens in her but not very likely.
