Can an unvaccinated dog survive Parvo? What are the chances?

  I am so sorry that Claud has parvo. Parvo is a very serious illness that usually requires very aggressive therapy in order for them to survive. It can survive in the environment for up to a year without a host. If Claud has already passed, I would strongly recommend to have him cremated just to prevent the virus from being in your ground. If not, I would strongly recommend to get him to a vet as soon as possible for treatment. Treatment can be expensive so if that isn't an option, I would at least talk to your vet about cheaper routes that could still benefit him. I also do not recommend bringing in another unvaccinated puppy into the environment for a year. If you want to get another dog, I would consider an young adult that has already be fully vaccinated. I would also be sure to bleach all of Claud's bedding and everything that he has been around to help kill the virus. Please know you are in our thoughts. Parvo virus is a terrible illness and difficult to treat.

  Since Benny was not fully vaccinated there is a chance of him contracting Parvo. The best chance of survival is hospitalization with supportive care if he comes up positive for it and/or showing symptoms.
  
  It is difficult to say if he can pull through this or not because his body has to fight the virus off. We can just provide supportive care which includes IV fluids and medications to help with the vomiting/diarrhea and antibiotics for secondary bacterial infection .
