My small dog ate a large dog's Simparica. Is it an emergency?

If Henk ingested the tablets in the last 1-2hrs, you should take him to your local vets right away to induce vomiting. If it was longer than 2hrs, making him vomit would not be recommended. If that is the case, you should monitor Henk at home for symptoms of vomiting, diarrhea, lack of appetite, tremors, problems with balance. If you notice any of these symptoms, you will have to get him to your local vets as soon as possible.

According to the manufacturer's data the symptoms are NOT likely to develop after ingesting this dose. You should give your bigger dog another tablet to get the right dose for 22-44 pound weight (that should be 24mg of sarolaner, moxidectinum 0.48mg and pyrantelum 100mg).

No, it's not safe to give half a dose. You can't be sure you are giving Sahara exactly half of the medication, and you could accidentally overdose her. I would return the Simparica, and get the correct dosage for her weight.
