My senior dog vomits after eating but acts normal. Is it serious?

If this is a new, sudden behavior, it's a good idea to have Jazmine examined by your vet, especially since she is a senior girl. Sudden symptoms like this could indicate an underlying illness, something obstructing the GI tract, or even changes to the tract itself affecting motility. If she is gulping her food down, feeding smaller meals more often may help prevent her from throwing it all back up as well.

Vomiting that often in an older dog that still has an appetite and is drinking water can be a sign of something stuck in the stomach or a mass. If Kruzer ate a ball, toy bone or something in the yard it may not be able to pass and may sit in the stomach causing irritation and vomiting. As this has been going on for a few weeks I recommend taking him in for abdominal X-rays. They should be able to see if the stomach is normal and if there is anything stuck in it. If he's losing weight and not feeling well then I would run a blood panel also to check his organ function. Once they have a diagnosis of the cause of the vomiting they can then proceed with treatment. If he has something stuck in the stomach sometimes surgery is needed to remove it. At her age, we definitely want to take changes like this seriously. If she's eating and drinking, breathing 10-30 breaths per minute while resting, able to get up and move around, and has normal pink gums, it doesn't sound like an emergency, but I would recommend a vet visit in the next few days if she doesn't go back to normal.

If there is any abdominal enlargement or pain he needs to be assessed by a vet as an emergency - non-productive/white foamy vomit is very concerning in a dog which is eating as it can indicate an obstruction. Hi I'm sorry to hear that Sabo is unwell. There are many many potential causes for her to vomit frequently. With her age, I am concerned about kidney or liver issues. But also pancreatitis is common in her breed. Take her to your vet first thing tomorrow. They will run blood tests to check her internal organs.
