What causes a senior dog to stop eating, diarrhea, and bloody stools?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 27 lbs

My dog has been off his food now 2 weeks eats bits of ham wings just we bits did bloods at vets came back kidneys liver slightly high but not high he is 13 lab/setter had dioreaha on off Noe blood Muchas in stools not loads but some he retches some times after water nothing comes up been in iv fluids last week got b12 and steroids still likes his walks won't look at his normal food vet said wait till Monday to do bloods again he will eat his dental chews

I'm sorry to hear that Bruce has been so sick. Decreased appetite, vomiting and bloody stools going on for 2 weeks is quite concerning. If blood work did not give a definitive answer, it may be time to consider imaging such as x-rays or an ultrasound. Potential causes for these symptoms include infections, dietary intolerances or even some types of cancer. An ultrasound may be beneficial in evaluating the abdominal organs to give us a better idea of what's going on.
