Senior dog's lump bleeding after grooming. Should I see a vet?

You don't mention exactly what the first growth was that was removed from the left side of his neck, but hopefully that was either benign, or perhaps not but was completely removed with the surgery. Lumps can appear anywhere on a dog, and they certainly seem to increase in frequency as dogs get older. I wouldn't panic, but yes, the 2 situations you've already suspected are possible, and I'll add a third: 1.) The groomer went too close with the clippers, and nicked him. 2.) This is a new growth, which may or may not be related to the first one (i.e. may be the same type or something completely different). 3.) The groomer could have nicked a growth with the clippers! It does sound like it's pretty nasty, and I tend to be fairly aggressive with wounds that may have happened at the groomers, since they can easily get infected. I would recommend getting Brody in to your vet today for evaluation, cleaning of the area, and possibly oral antibiotics.

This definitely appears uncomfortable, and I can see that Diggory has been licking at it by the wet fur. As long as Diggory is acting normally, eating/drinking, and not vomiting; it is most likely okay to wait until tomorrow morning to have the area looked at by a vet. You can get him an E-collar or "cone" to keep him from bothering the area. I don't recommend putting a bandage on it, as Diggory is likely to rip it off and possibly eat it. This may be caused by an infection, allergic reaction, or even certain types of cancer. A vet will be able to prescribe antibiotics, medicated shampoos/ointments, and pain medication to keep Diggory comfortable until you get to your family vet. If you are noticing an odor, it's might be infected. This bump could be an infected cyst, a foreign body trapped under the skin or a ruptured tumor. I recommend to protect the area from any licking (Nala may need to wear an elizabethan collar at all times) and have her examined by the veterinarian within the next 24 hours. I hope this helps.

This can be related to a skin infection, growth (slightly more likely if Louie is a little older), or a bug bite. A veterinary exam can determine the definitive cause, and would be required for prescription antibiotics. In the meantime, you can carefully use an electric clipper to clear hair from the area if you feel comfortable. You can also get Louie an e-collar or “cone” to prevent him from continuing to lick the area and cause further trauma. A mild pet shampoo can also be used to keep the area clean. It's hard to see from the pictures, but if Lily is biting to the point of causing bleeding this is not normal. The bumps could be anything ranging from allergies, to fungal/yeast infections between the toes, to growths/tumors. It would be best to have the area looked at by your vet so the exact cause can be found. In the meantime, using an Elizabethan (cone) collar to prevent Lily from licking and chewing is best to stop further irritation or introduction of bacteria into the wound.

I would recommend that you have Lumpy checked out by a vet. It looks like it may be infected. The hair will need to be clipped away from the mass and the wound. Even if it is benign, masses don't heal very well since they are not normal tissue, so it may need to be removed so that it stops bleeding and will not continue to be a source for infection.

Poor girl! This could be a number of things from a benign tumor, an infection, a cancerous tumor and much more. I would first put a cone collar on her to prevent her from licking it or it will only get worse. Since the bump is really swollen and obviously bothering her, I would have your vet take a look at it. Your vet will be able to determine what it is and recommend the best treatment for her. They will likely put her on antibiotics and may or may not recommend to have it surgically removed.
