Senior dog has frequent urination & accidents. I was hoping for a medication for this. I know when I take antihistamines my need to urinate is reduced.

At her age it is very likely that she is suffering from urinary incontinence, it's a common problem in spayed females from a certain age. she will indeed probably need medications for life, the medications that treat urinary incontinence are prescription only. your vet will need to rule out a urine infection before he can prescribe this medications.
