My 5mounth old puppy is trowing up dead worms and yellow stuff he want eat but is drinking water

Hello, sorry to hear about Chevy. I would consider taking him to your veterinarian to have him checked for worms. You can also bring a stool sample with you to Chevy's appointment to help them expedite their testing for worms. They may also suggest testing for other things that may cause vomiting in puppies such as viruses. Hope this helps.

It sounds as your dog is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet the first chance you get, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.

I am sorry that Juno is vomiting so much. In young puppies they are at higher risk for parasites, viruses like parvo and ingestion of foreign material. I would recommend taking her to a vet to make sure everything is okay. I would take a fecal sample with you so the vet can test for gastrointestinal parasites like round and hookworms. In young dogs it is important they are eating and do not become dehydrated. hope that helps

It's not advised to give him deworming when he is vomiting, because it will likely just be vomited up. Worms can get in the stomach (not their usual place) and cause vomiting, but they don't tend to cause them to suddenly get weak. It's possible that some other infection (like parvo virus) is happening and the appearance of the worm was just a coincidence. Puppies that vomit a great deal can quickly become dehydrated, which will cause them to get weak. In order to keep Chopper from having life-threatening complications, it's best to take him to the vet for an evaluation and treatment as soon as possible. For now, only feed small amounts of bland food and make sure he has plenty of clean water. You can add rehydration salts to the water to help treat the dehydration. My 11-week puppy isn't eating, is skinny, and threw up yellow foam.

Poor Oso. Unfortunately there are a lot of different reasons that could be causing him to act like this like parasites (worms), giardia, a bacterial infection, a foreign body, an intestinal obstruction and much more. I would have your vet take a look at him since he is so small. They will likely do a fecal to look for worm eggs - you usually will not be able to see the actual worms in their poop. They may also recommend blood work or x-rays if needed. They will be able to get him on the proper meds to help him feel better. Also, I would try not to get into the habit of hand feeding him as he may get use to this and require it as he gets older for attention. I hope this helps!

Vomiting can be observed with conditions such as gastroenteritis, pancreatitis, dietary indiscretion, gastrointestinal foreign body ingestion and obstruction, among other possibilities. For this reason, I highly recommend that you have Chewy evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment as soon as possible as I am afraid she is likely becoming dehydrated. My puppy just vomited something strange. Could it be a worm or not?

That does not look like a normal intestinal worm. Intestinal worms are white or light yellow. I suspect this is something he ate. Wrap it up in a baggie and take it to be examined by your veterinarian. To be safe, have the store checked for worms since some rooms can be spread to humans.
