My 3-month-old Lab puppy is vomiting and has diarrhea. What to do?

Buck could have a parasite or infection causing the vomiting and diarrhea. Your vet can test a stool sample and prescribe medications to treat. He may need a dewormer, antibiotic, anti-vomiting, and/or other medications to help treat. You can also feed a bland diet of boiled chicken and white rice and add a probiotic to see if that helps.

Poor pup! Labs are notorious for eating things they should not, and she could have a foreign body causing her symptoms. It could also be she has a GI illness, may have eaten something rotten, or could have pancreatitis. Since she is not eating or drinking as well as vomiting, I would take her into a vet now. If her current issue is frequent urination and accidents in the house, she may have developed a urinary tract infection, which is unlikely to be related to the vomiting (if the vomiting has since resolved). I recommend that you take her to your vet, as a urine test can be performed. If it is discovered that she does indeed have an infection, antibiotics will be needed to clear it up. Oh my. Poor guy. If he has a fever this can be caused by a bacterial or viral infection (i.e. Parvovirus if he isn't fully vaccinated). I would have him tested for parvovirus first and if that comes up negative he needs full panel bloodwork and a urinalysis. to fully evaluate him. He should be on antibiotics and fluid therapy to help bring down his fever. He also needs anti-vomit medication to prevent him from becoming dehydrated due to excessive vomiting. If his condition has not improved within 24-48 hrs, then you should consider having him hospitalized so that he can get around the clock care and treatment. Poor guy. I do hope that your pup Shadow is able to make a full and speedy recovery from his illness. For tonight you can try feeding him some slghly warmed up cans of baby food (meat and vegetables or squash) to try to entice him to eat. I'm sorry Cherry isn't feeling well. I would recommend having a veterinary checkup if at all possible. She is very young and any infection could quickly become serious. Especially if she is having breathing difficulty she needs to see a vet.

Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies.
